Resiflow LV MBP-16

Resiflow LV MBP-16 is a 10% flow control masterbatch of Resiflow LV in DSM’s Uralac P-6040 carboxyl polyester resin for hybrids.  This product has been designed for optimal flow and leveling in polyester-epoxy hybrid powder coating formulations. A key attribute of this flow control masterbatch is that the Resiflow LV has already been highly dispersed into the polyester resin and thus is very easily incorporated into the final formulation.

Typical dosage is 7-12% based on the total formulation.  The formulator will need to reduce the base polyester resin in the formulation to accurately compensate for the polyester resin contained in the masterbatch in order to maintain the correct polyester to epoxy ratio.

For each new formulation, an individual laboratory test is required to determine the optimum concentration of the additive and processing conditions.
