Polytex NX-55

Polytex NX-55 is a proprietary sulfonamide composition used in cosmetics coatings to promote adhesion, internal plasticization, gloss, depth of image, and durability.

• Excellent compatibility with most commercial polymeric binders, pigments and plasticizers.
• Enhances compatibility between resins, plasticizers, pigments, and dyes which may otherwise remain incompatible.
• Great stability against yellowing and degradation under outdoor or high temperature applications.

The recommended level of usage is 5-15% of the total formulation.

Polytex NX-55 is not TSCA listed. It is listed with the Cosmetics, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association (CTFA). The product may only be used for cosmetics applications under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act (FFDCA) which exempts the product from TSCA listing.
