Resiflow L-64F MBP-10 (polyester-TGIC)

Resiflow L-64F MBP-10 is a 10% flow control masterbatch of Resiflow L-64F in Cytec’s Crylcoat 2437-0 carboxyl polyester resin for TGIC. This product has been designed for a balance of optimal flow and good clarity in PE-TGIC, PE-PT910 and PE-Primid clearcoat formulations. A key attribute of this flow control masterbatch is that the Resiflow L-64F has already been highly dispersed into the polyester resin and thus is very easily incorporated into the final formulation.

Typical dosage is 7-12% based on the total formulation. The formulator will need to reduce the base polyester resin in the formulation to accurately compensate for the polyester resin contained in the masterbatch. This will maintain the correct resin to crosslinker ratio.

For each new formulation, an individual laboratory test is required to determine the optimum concentration of the additive and processing conditions.
