Isocryl EP-452 (GMA acrylic)

Isocryl EP-452 is a general purpose flow control system for a broad spectrum of epoxy functional acrylic resins, notably GMA acrylic clearcoats. At additive levels of 5-10% it provides outstanding clarity, smoothness, and recoatability. In addition, EP-452 affords excellent distributive mixing during the premixing stage and dispersion in the extrusion phase of the powder coating manufacturing process.

As with any raw material, laboratory evaluation is required for each formulation to determine the best processing method and the optimum concentration of the additive.
