Resiflow L-37

Resiflow L-37 is a functional flow control agent for use in high solids, solvent-based, UV curable, coil and other coatings. Resiflow L-37 has been developed for use in high solids, coil coatings and powder coatings. Resiflow L-37, incorporated at levels between 0.2 – 2% based on total weight of the formulation, acts as a defoamer, flow aid, and will:

• Improve deaerating, air release, flow, leveling, surface hardness, mar and stain resistance
• Eliminate craters, pinholes, pigment floating, air entrapment, Benard cell structures, fish-eyes
• Increase gloss

Resiflow L-37 exhibits excellent defoaming and air release characteristics in UV curable clear coating systems. It will not impart haze in clear coatings, and unlike conventional polyacrylate flow control agents will not soften or plasticize the film. Resiflow L-37 is soluble in aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, and alcohols.
